So right now I'm up in Sun Valley skiing and of course, when one's in the Rocky Mountains, one must have Rocky Mountain Chocolate.
I fondly remember stops into the Rocky Mountain Chocolate factory as a kid to get chocolate covered honey-comb and rocky road bars, but this time I'm an adult (or something like that) and have a far more critical pallet.
I opted for the nice round truffles to see how those compare to other gift-able chocolates. Mmm not bad. BUT, I must say, there's a huge discrepancy in quality between the milk chocolate treats(4.5 cherries) and the white chocolate covered truffles (1.5 cherries), which even look sketchy in their bleached shade of white. Three and a half cherries overall for a sweet special stop in the rockey mountains!
