Great tips! I totally agree with all of them, but am sad to say that tip #2 is my kryptonite. I've even tried drinking just club soda to take baby steps. Sadly to say, it only worked for a while. You're definitely right, what works for one may not work for another.

Hi Lequan! Just curious- what motivates you to drink sodas: is it for energy? to substitute snacking? old habit? or you really enjoy the fizz and taste? Thanks :)

Lynn @ The Actors Diet

wonderful tips, darling! but i have to say that for me, eating before bed is a must!!! i always nosh on either a piece of fruit, dessert, or cocoa right before i hit the hay and that's when i started losing the most weight....

Thought it is thirsty Thursday?

Almost fulfilled all of above except for 2] (3 gulps of Hecho en Mexico Coke from a bottle). As for (4) Ate at 11pm, stayed up til 1am; that's still kosher, yes?

Dessert Darling

Yes, 8 out of 10 and you're good to Go. ;)
And um, I just might have broken Tip #4 Sat night when I wrote this post

I guess Tip 11 should be, Feel free to break the rules!

Hi Jenny,

I actually really enjoy both the fizz and taste together. That's why I tried to cut out taste (tried tasteless club soda) and just tried drinking it for the fizz but it didn't work. I've gone cold turkey on a lot of things during my two pregnancies but soda has been the one thing I can't break away from. I drank decaffeinated pop during my preggos days. Sigh.

Great tips!
I had to learn not to obsess, myself.
Pilates definitely helps me!
How do you feel about wine?
Any guidelines you apply there for yourself?

I've been meaning to comment on this post all week! I get the same kind of questions, "How do you stay skinny when you eat like that?" etc, and after a while it does start to bother me some. I tend to follow similiar guidelines as you do with regard to my diet - I don't deprive myself of anything I want, but I do make sure to balance out my indulgences. It's all about listening to your body. And when my body wants chocolate, by golly, I'll give it chocolate! :)
