Last weekend I attended a baby shower for my baby nephew to-be! It was such a lovely event full of fun, laughter, and great mini-cupcakes! I learned that the cupcakes came from Sweet Things in Tiburon, just outside of San Francisco.
The Carrot Cake was seemless and lacking raisins, which my sis'n'law loved, the Red Velvet cake had a strong cocoa presence, the Chocolate cake went splendidly with its cream cheese frosting, and the winner of the group, the Vanilla/Vanilla cake, was complete perfection! Too bad these guys don't deliver to my future wedding location, otherwise they'd seriously be in the running for my reception!

I'm not a huge cupcake fan but those sure do look enticing. Congrats on being a future aunt to be DD!

my brother lives in the bay and a number of years ago he introduced me to sweet things' carrot cake. while i haven't had their cupcakes, i absolutely die for their cakes. it's moist and the perfect amount of sweetness as well as the perfect cake to icing ratio. my mouth is watering just thinking about it!

It smacks of totalitarianism in the school system; the student is a commodity and the teacher is the factory line-worker producing shiny widgets. Lucy and Ethel on the chocolate conveyor belt were more successful in their production than a teacher could be based on very flawed set of criteria.
