Jacques Torres has made quite the name for himself as a chocolate specialist. He's an affable figure on TV and I'm sure we'd get along swimmingly...except, I don't really like his chocolates ((Eeeg)). I'm sorry, but like Sprinkles and other trendy, name recognizable desserts, I think there's more hype than value here.
I've had Jacques Torres chocolates many times, and while I appreciate the manageable bite sizes and delicate shells, I can't say that the flavors keep me wanting more. I certainly don't pine away for Jacques Torres chocolates the way I do with K Chocolatier, John Kelly, or La Mason Du Chocolat's swoon worthy creatons. Overall though, 3.5 cherries is solid rating.
